avocado anything dip

avocado anything dip with veggie burger and fries

If you guys don’t already have a “special sauce” recipe of your own, please go ahead and adopt my avocado anything dip — also known as “plant-based avocado special sauce” — as your own. You can serve it on practically anything (hello veggie burger spread) or dunk almost anything into it (yep, it’s a perfect Super Bowl party dip)!

This is definitely my pick when I’ve got avocados on hand that are a bit overly mushy, too. It transforms them into something rather magical.

whirling it

It’s sooo easy to make this special sauce. Simply add all ingredients to a food processor (or a mixer bowl) and blend on high speed until you get a mousse-like texture, which takes around 3 minutes. That’s it! If But if you wish, do go ahead and adjust any seasonings you desire.

Watch me whirl it on TikTok HERE.

Store the avocado anything dip in an airtight sealable glass container or jar and use within a week. But don’t worry, you’ll likely polish off this recipe way before the week is up.

swapping it

This dippable condiment is totally as enjoyable as guacamole, but it’s kind of like a distant cousin. And lots more versatile. So, think of this sassy recipe more like a swap in place of ranch dip for veggies, a spread instead of mayo for veggie burgers, and a topper in place of sour cream on baked potatoes or beany chili.

Before I forget to mention it … I list the serving size as 2 tablespoons for nutrition analysis purposes. But please enjoy liberally as you wish. I do! Happy eating!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large or 2 small avocados, peeled, seeded, and quartered
  • 3 tablespoons classic vegan mayo
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice (or mixture)

Add all ingredients to a food processor or electric mixer bowl and blend until velvety smooth, about 3 minutes! Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

Goes as a dip with whatever you wish, like French fries, potato chips, and my roasted potato “chips”; tortilla chips; alternative chips, such as chickpea chips and dehydrated veggie crisps; roasted or grilled bell peppers or squash on skewers; raw veggies, including cherry or grape tomatoes, snap peas, and cucumber “chips.”

Goes as a sauce or topping for whatever you wish, like tacos, burritos, and other Mexican delights; baked potatoes; roasted carrot; chili; veggie burgers, sandwiches, and wraps; egg or “egg” dishes, such as scrambled plant-based chickpea eggs and omelets.
