STRAWBERRIES ETC.
1 pound organic strawberries, pitted, sliced vertically (1/4-inch thick slices)
1 tablespoon raspberry or balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoon acacia or other mild floral honey
- In medium bowl, gently stir strawberries with vinegar and honey. Let marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
- Serve at room temperature. Delicious by themselves, over frozen yogurt, or atop waffles. If desired, top with very thinly sliced fresh basil or mint.
