BALSAMIC BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH SHALLOTS
10 ounces Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved, thinly sliced lengthwise
1 1/2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup sliced shallots
1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
- In large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and butter.
- Once butter melts, add sliced Brussels sprouts and shallots. Cook while stirring for 8 minutes, or until spouts are lightly browned and just tender.
- Add balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
