ITALIAN SUBMARINE WRAPS
4 (50g each) whole wheat flour tortillas
6 ounces lean, natural smoked deli turkey
6 ounces lean, natural smoked deli ham
4 ounces thinly sliced provolone cheese of other cheese of choice
2 tablespoons grated Parmigiana-Reggiano cheese
2 cups baby arugula or mesclun
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1 ounce hot pepper rings
1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano leaves, or to taste
1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette
- Top each tortilla with 1/4 of the ingredients. Roll up tightly. Cut each in half diagonally to serve. Secure each with a toothpick, if desired.
- Enjoy with raw veggies or fruit on the side along with a glass of low sodium V8® vegetable juice.
